If you are looking for professional Acupuncture in Hallett Cove you may be disappointed…but do not despair a dedicated clinic is only 10 mins away
I was at a conference on the weekend and a fellow practitioner asked me if there was anyone providing Acupuncture in Hallet Cove. To the best of my knowledge there is no dedicated Acupuncture clinic but some of the companion practitioners such as Physiotherapists offer Acupuncture.
Only last year I was thinking of opening an Acupuncture Clinic in Hallet Cove. I love Hallett Cove and as there was no professional Acupuncturist in the area I saw it as a good opportunity. I spoke with the allied practitioners who worked locally, the GP, Chiro and Physio and they were all supportive as they were happy to have someone qualified they could refer there patients to.
Acupuncture is gaining significant acceptance in Australia and many western practitioners who offer conventional treatments are doing short courses so that can provide this proven treatment to their patients where their standard practices are not working.
However, there is considerable debate regarding the practice of dry needling by healthcare professionals who are not Acupuncturists and may lack the necessary training. I do not think the legitimacy of dry needling should be questioned but the qualifications of the health care professional.
As a qualified Acupuncturist I have to be registered by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to practice Acupuncture and also am required to be a participating member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) This means that I participate in current study’s and research to make sure that my professional practice to the highest standard is maintained.
When you are searching for Acupuncture in Hallett Cove be sure to question the qualifications of the practitioner who is going to perform Acupuncture. I did a Google search for Acupuncture in Hallett Cove and despite the mixed results my main clinic remains the closet in the area. I am only 10 mins away in Marino which is the neighbouring suburb.
Essential Acupuncture Clinic is just a pleasant drive along the Cove Road and up the hill towards the Marino Conservation Park. I use both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine treatments that are proven, safe, effective and drug-free for a wide range of conditions. Whatever you’re physical complaint or age, I can work with you to restore your health and energy so that you can enjoy living in this extremely beautiful part of the world.
If you are seeking Acupuncture in Hallett Cove please contact me and I will be happy to discuss a treatment plan and explain how this treatment that has been clinically proven to be effective for thousands of years can work for you.
I look forward to seeing you soon
You’re local Acupuncturist
