Visiting an Acupuncture clinic

March 17, 2017Julie ZhuAcupuncture

Acupuncture clinic

I have never had poor service at an Acupuncture Clinic but I had a really poor experience when visiting a GP the other day. It seemed to me that the doctor was disenchanted with their role and certainly appeared to have no interest in my welfare. Irrespective of their experience or competence in their position, the poor customer service leaves me feeling like I will never use their facility again. Perhaps that is what they want, less patients.

It is easy to imagine that people can get disillusioned in their roles, but in my opinion (as a medical practitioner) your ethics and professional service to your clients is paramount. When clients visit my Acupuncture clinic I want them to feel like their medical treatment is my only concern. An Acupuncture clinic should be no different from a Dental clinic, Doctors surgery or any other service provider. As a client you would expect to be treated with respect and dignity. This has not always been my experience in the past.

Having visited Japan on numerous occasions I have enjoyed a different level of service than we experience in the West. I have always wanted to embed that quality of service and care into my Acupuncture clinic, and constantly strive to do so.

I work closely wiAcupuncture clinicth my clients to treat the symptoms and cause of their condition. It is my goal to ensure every cell, tissue and organ in their bodies is in prime condition. Over the course of the treatment I will get to know the client better. I am always delighted that they feel comfortable and relaxed when they attend treatments at my Acupuncture clinic. This is how I would like to feel when I visits the doctor or dentist but somehow it doesn’t happen.

What is your experience? Please leave a reply to let me know about your experiences with the medical profession.

Rising above the industry standard comes down to motivation, uncompromising standards, a desire for great patient outcomes and hard work.

Here is an interesting article on bad service in health care.

Cheers, Julie.
